Great resolutions, Subraya! Customer service is not just the responsibility of one or two departments. It must be company-wide. And in order for it to be company-wide, CEOs must make it a priority. I would also like to point out that resolutions 2 thru 5 enable resolution #1.

Thanks Priyanka. I think you meant customer centricity becoming a real focus now and I agree. I think in all mature industries customer focus has always been paramount. Software industry got away without paying a lot of attention to it in the last decade or so, but with SaaS, the service more than software is becoming critical. Customer satisfaction will directly determine the churn and consequently the profitability of companies.
