As we started looking at re-designing our application’ look and feel and make it more relevant to the Web 2.0 productivity features we also wanted an upgrade of our icons/images used in the application. Before we started getting a media designer to design the icons we started looking for something opensource/free. After looking at a few of them we finally settled with famfamfam. The final three we looked at were

  1. famfamfam
  2. pinvoke
  3. OpenClipart

All three packages are available through the Creative Commons License.
